Four assets. Two countries.
Four 100%-owned precious-metals assets across Mexico and the United States: two producing mines, a restart-ready mine, and an advanced development project, with a vision to 250,000 ounces.
Four 100%-owned precious-metals assets
Goldgroup Mining operates a portfolio of four 100%-owned assets across Mexico and the United States. Two mines are producing today, the Don David gold-silver mine in Oaxaca and the Cerro Prieto heap-leach mine in Sonora, complemented by the restart-ready San Francisco mine and the advanced Back Forty development project, together supporting our vision of intermediate-producer scale.
Two producing mines & a development pipeline
ProducingDon David Gold Mine
A 100%-owned producing underground mine, the Arista complex, hosting a structurally-controlled epithermal vein system that yields gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc, with a deep regional exploration pipeline across Oaxaca.
ProducingCerro Prieto Gold Mine
A 100%-owned, producing heap-leach gold mine in operation since 2013, with an in-house 2026 estimate of 17,000 to 20,000+ ounces of gold and ongoing exploration and development drilling along trend.
Restart-readySan Francisco Project
A large-scale, past-producing open-pit gold mine. Two former pits, San Francisco and La Chicharra, hold 1.23 million ounces of Measured & Indicated gold, with heap-leach infrastructure in place for a cost-effective restart targeted for early 2027.
DevelopmentBack Forty Project
A 100%-owned, gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) project, a combined open-pit and underground operation with a definitive feasibility study underway and a US$556M after-tax NPV in the consensus-price case.
Our vision: 250,000 ounces
A staged, organic-plus-M&A growth plan to advance the company toward intermediate-producer scale, measured in gold-equivalent ounces per year.
Ramp the producing mines
Grade control, infill drilling and re-leaching drive production growth at Don David and Cerro Prieto.
Optimize & restart
Exploration, resource definition and the San Francisco restart support a vision of 150,000+ oz Au Eq by 2027.
Advance Back Forty
Feasibility and permitting move the large-scale Back Forty VMS project toward a development decision.
Grow through M&A
Accretive acquisitions and ongoing optimization target a further 100,000+ oz Au Eq.
